Zelocity™
The Sooner Golf Academy at the Jimmie Austin OU Golf Club employs the use of the Zelocity™ PureLaunch system for fittings. Zelocity™ is the golf industry's only true ball velocity measuring device. Zelocity™ uses Doppler radar to emit radar pulses which creates a radar field. As the golf ball travels through the radar field, it bounces impulses back to the monitor, which measures the ball's actual velocity, spin, and launch angle. Zelocity™ does not calculate measurements by comparing to pre-stored data like other devices do.
